 Meeting Minute for June 14-28th 

During our WG meetings on June 14-28th, we started to work on our Haunted House decorations items like painting/ recreating creepy babies, buying chairs, a table/ tea set for a tea party and a table for a mad scientist, getting the lighting, finding creepy sounds/ music to play on a laptop with fall carnivals games after it was agreed upon from games for the Fall carnival side. 

Five members will be in the haunted house room. Cindy and Current/ future members will be helping in the fall carnival side unless they want to switch out with other members for the haunted house with a break.

We are still working on the final preparations for the Haunted House/ Fall Carnival games. 

Cindy and Bandie purchase new stuff and dolls to help make sure the Haunted House room is completed during their days off from work.

July meetings 12 Cindy had informed us the times were changed from 4:30 to 5:30 PM to 3:30 -4:30 PM due to student workers; we have changed the time again to 4 PM during the fall semester.  

We did have to fix up Discord a bit so our new members didn’t get lost in the Discord halls!

HH/ FC aka Haunted House and Fall Carnival meeting notes Team 7/11/2023

•    Mariceli had a list of clubs to be in the event: Net Impact, Culinary, AG/Sci, Fine Arts: MUSE, Math & Eng, Pokémon Go, and Writer Guild. 

•    Currently, Three Haunted House rooms are WG, Net Impact, Pokémon Go

•    Mariceli will do a walkthrough of the rooms and explain the rules for Haunted House

•    Mariceli will have set dates for getting a Haunted House room with few ground rules after the open house is done. 

•    If you want to get a fog machine for the haunted house room with a fog machine, it went to Pokémon Go Club. They are going to have one for safety reasons. 

•    All of the Haunted House rooms will have one outlet, don’t plug something in that can overheat the system/ use to electricity 

•    Mariceli, and business office, marketing office will sell tickets for 50 cents/ having Haunted House tickets

•    We have a new marketing team member. Her name is Karen; Mariceli will talk about how to market the HH/ FC event closer to the event. 

 In Early September HH/FC flyers will be sent out to everyone to pass out Mariceli will have sent out by 500 or more. 

•    Student gov’t meetings will be held on Wednesdays at 1 PM every two weeks from now. 

July 22th: Writer Guilder and CTC Library went to Open House event to help get a few more members to join our club in which we did, Our President Tai made an poster for Writer Guilder to off at the event, Amare and Dev with our Librarian's  Brandi and Cindy helping us to get the information out to our future students and club members!

June 28th we continued to work on our creepy babies dolls, testing out our new creepy moving dolls, and finished all of the Haunted House Decorations.

Meeting tomorrow June 27 at 3:30pm rather than 4:30pm

 Hi Fellow Creative Humanoids,

Tomorrow's meeting will be at 3:30 rather than 4:30pm due to some scheduling programs. We will need to change again when fall hits and maybe start the meeting at 4:00 or 4:15 to meet the scheduling time we need. It will be on the second floor of the library. 

We're working on the Haunted House and Fall Festival during these summer meetings, but you can still bring what you're working on and we can support your work while painting mutant dolls. Professor Matthews gave us some of the Haunted House stuff from previous years, so now we have even freakier stuff! 

I'll send a WebEx invite for tomorrow.

Minutes from May 24 Meeting

 Hi everyone! Our next meeting is June 14 at 4:30pm. 

For now, we are working on the Haunted House/Fall Carnival. 

Tai took some notes.

See who has the stuff for the Haunted House/ Fall Carnival  (I got 25 little dolls at the dollar store. We can paint them I will also ask Mike Matthews if he has the ones from years ago). 

Continue to build the set items for the Haunted House craft. 

Game: Draw and explain the drawing based on anything/ Any choice of Games that anyone brings. 

We need one or two officers to attend the "Haunted House Meeting on June 13th at 11 Am on Webex."  I'll be at the meeting as well, so if only one can make it that's ok. But two is better. 

Volunteers are needed for the event on July 4th, 2023, Shopping trips will be needed to get items we can sell during the event on the Library patio outside for passing cars. We will need to decide quickly, so we can get the form filled out that gives us permission to sell.

Open House is July 22nd from 9 AM - 1 PM in Anderson Building upstairs, If any club members are available to come by for a day for a little bit, I would be glad.  This is a chance to get new members. We need lots of volunteers and lots of people to work the Haunted House, so recruit, recruit, recruit! 

May 24 next meeting is in a different room

 

Hi guys,

Next week's Writers Guild meeting is in room 202A. We had to move. It's on the other side of the building, on the second floor. It's that room with the window that ECHS uses for gaming. 

We will still have a virtual option, but no large screen this time. 

Come prepared to create stuff for Halloween. I'll bring some crafty supplies like paper for you guys to use. We can also talk field trips and a few other things that Tai mentioned in the last email. If you want to work on writing a script for a horror movie, then bring that too. You can all create a horror movie and star in each other's movie. :-)

The first thing that was talked in the first 10 minutes was about the 3-minute horror videos that are being planned. There are two stories on the table and one or the other can be selected so everyone can help on it. The first one is called the "Hanakani Disease" and the second one us called "Human Doll Killer".

We also talked about the T-shirts and the colors which we will use, taking into consideration the prices for it. 

After that, we talked about things in which we have worked and our achievements throught the previous days.

Finally, we decided to play the game of "5 Second Rule", along with individually making the history of an selected animal in 30 seconds. After that, we talked about our characters in 5 seconds.
